Bill Chappell received his Ph.D. in Economics from the South Carolina State University, and he joined the faculty in 1987. He currently teaches undergraduate and graduate level statistics courses. His research areas include applied/empirical industrial organization and regional economics. Professor Chappell’s research has appeared in the Southern Economic Journal, the Journal of Economics, and Applied Economics.
